Requirements
GPA Requirement:
- Role of President, Vice President, or Director of Finance: GPA of 3.0 or higher
- All other roles: GPA of 2.5 or higher
Major Requirement: NONE. We encourage all members to apply for a board position no matter your major. Having a board with a variety of knowledge and perspectives will help to increase inclusivity and diversity.
Classification Requirement: NONE. Whether you are a freshman or a second year senior, we urge you to apply and get leadership experience to build your skills and resume!
The interview process will take place from April 4th to April 8th and interviews will be held on Zoom.
There will be separate applications (Google Forms) for each role that will consist of general information, questions about the role and your experience, as well as a requirement to upload your resume (so please make sure you’re resume is updated!). Every applicant will be invited to interview.
Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for people who are passionate about what the Women in Business Association believes in and want to continue to expand the organization as much as possible. It is important that each of our officers is committed, passionate, and ambitious. It is critical that the Women in Business officers can commit their time to the organization and are present at most, if not all, events and meetings.
A few basic skills in particular we are looking for in candidates are:
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency in Google Spaces (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Forms, etc)
- Excellent time-management skills
- Ability to work well in teams
